Sheik Ahmad Gumi, a renowned Islamic scholar and former military captain has made a striking comment regarding the annihilation of top ISIS commander, Abu-Bilal Al-Minuki through a joint operation by the United States military and Nigeria Military.
According to the statements which were shared on his official Facebook account on Saturday May 16th, 2026 he pointed out that the death of a terrorist meant nothing, but violation of sovereignty was unacceptable.
Abu-Bilal Al-Minuki, a top terrorist commander, it can be recalled, was taken out through a joint operation in the Lake Chad basin, a successful operation which sent relief to different parts of the country.
However, according to the former military captain, the presence of the United States military should concern every patriotic citizen.
