Lege Miami has opened up about his personal life, sharing a deeply emotional account of how his past relationships shaped his outlook on love, sacrifice, and acceptance.
According to him, his journey in life started early, as he began working at just 16 years old. Despite his struggles, he said he consistently supported the women he dated, both financially and emotionally, even when it required significant personal sacrifice.
He recalled one of his earliest serious relationships with a woman he deeply cared about. He described how he supported her throughout her education, even paying her school fees while she studied at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife. He also said he was present during important milestones in her academic life, including her matriculation.
“On the day of her matriculation l was with her , l paid her school fees through out, l was busy working for her to be comfortable”.
Lege Miami explained that his involvement in acting was influenced by her admiration for actors, which motivated him to pursue the entertainment industry more seriously at the time.
“It was because of her l joined Acting because she used to love Actors”.
However, despite his sacrifices, he said the relationship eventually came to an end. According to him, the woman later told him they were not compatible and cited his lack of formal education and English proficiency as reasons.
“When she got to her final year she called and told me we are no more compatible, that l am an illiterate and she can’t get married to someone like me”.
He said the breakup left him confused and emotionally hurt, especially after everything he had invested into the relationship.
“I was so confused and shocked, she left”.
Lege Miami also spoke about another relationship where he again played a supportive role, noting that it resulted in children but still ended in separation. He claimed similar reasons of incompatibility were given.
“I started dating another woman, she was the one that gave birth to Mercy and David”
“She too said we are not compatible”.
He added that after these experiences, he moved on to another relationship, continuing his search for lasting love despite repeated disappointments.
Through his reflections, Lege Miami highlighted the emotional toll of his experiences and how they shaped his understanding of relationships, sacrifice, and self-worth.
