Arsenal won’t be complacent against Wolves; it won’t happen- Mikel Arteta

Arsenal FC manager, Mikel Arteta, says his team won’t be complacent in its English Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Gunners take on Wolves at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, December 13 at 20:00 GMT in a clash that pits the league leaders-Arsenal- against the lowest ranked team in the league.

Despite the enormous gap between the teams, Mikel Arteta isn’t undermining the threat of Rob Edwards’ team especially after suffering a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in the previous round that cut Arsenal’s lead over second ranked Manchester City to two points.

“After what happened and the result against Aston Villa, it’s a massive opportunity for us to win and put ourselves in a good position. By showing them the team that they are, understand that a team in that position has to react and show their teeth”

“That’s a dangerous thing in this league and when a team has the quality they have. So it’s [being complacent] is not going to happen” Arteta said according to the BBC.
