As I Got To Herbert’s New House I Wasn’t Happy, I Didn’t Know When He Began Building The House—Wigwe

According to our report, Shyngle Wigwe, father of the late Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe, has opened up about his disappointment upon visiting the new house his son built before his passing.

In an interview with NTA, Shyngle revealed he was unaware Herbert had begun construction, saying the CEO deliberately kept it from him to avoid disapproval. “When I arrived at the new house, I wasn’t pleased,” he admitted, describing the property as overly extravagant and far beyond his taste.

Despite attempting to advise Herbert against such opulence, Shyngle said it was too late to change anything once the house was completed. His reflections shed light on the personal side of a man known for his professional achievements, showing the contrast between fatherly values and a son’s vision.
