In an interview with Trust TV, Faiha Isiaka, a mother, explained that rising inflation has made it difficult to maintain previous routines. “Before, once our babies reached three or four months, we would start giving them baby food. Now, we simply can’t afford it,” she said, highlighting the financial strain on households.
Isiaka’s account reflects a growing concern among mothers who are finding it harder to provide basic nutrition and care for their children. Experts warn that continued price hikes may impact infant health if affordable options are not made available.
