A Nigerian lady who is Catholic by faith, has sparked a debate following her opinion after attending mass in her church today March 22.
In a viral video, the lady said her spirit was ‘’not fed” with the homily shared by her priest. She said the gospel being preached in most Catholic churches do not ‘’cut it” anymore.
She went on to compare how she feels when she listens to the preachings of pentecostal pastor, Apostle Joshua Selman and how she feels listening to the messages delivered by some Catholic priests. She advised Catholic priests to go to pastoral schools so they can better do better.
In her words
‘’My spirit was not fed today. Coming back from church today, I feel like my spirit was not fed enough with the gospel. I am a Catholic but honestly, the gospel in Catholic these days do not cut it for me. This is one of the reasons why my husband who is also a Catholic but currently goes to one of these Pentecostal churches and I totally get him now because what’s the point of going to church and you come back feeling like your spirit was not fed. This is part of the reason why I also key in for Koinona. Apart from the fact that I love Apostle, his teachings, OMG! My heart is so so full after every Sunday fellowship with Koinonia. This is what I want from Catholic priests., Catholic priests should go for pastoral teachings so they can learn how to dissect the bible and by the grace of the holy spirit, they will be able to help us, feed us more because these days, going to church is …This is how I feel.
