A decision by a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to exercise his soccer talent has ended in tragedy.
The ‘corper’ identified as Lucky, popularly known as Malouda, was said to have slumped on a football pitch.
According to a report on Linda Ikeji blog, the Sociology graduate of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) reportedly collapsed during a football training session on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026.
Efforts to revive him at the scene were unsuccessful, as he was later confirmed d3ad.
His untimely d3ath has left friends, colleagues, and members of the university community in shock.
