A heart wrenching video has captured the moment a young girl identified as Kushim, was weeping inconsolably during the burial of her father who was k!lled in the recent Plateau attack.
Gunmen on Palm Sunday, invaded the Gari Ya Waye area of Angwan Rukuba, Jos North, k!lling more than 30 residents and injuring several others.
A Facebook user, Nkechi Nnorom Abok, who shared the video, said the young girl kept crying for her father to come back.
“And we buried our de@d today. A hard working man with a wife and children. He had so much strength in her,” she wrote.
“For her, there was no other place to be than in that grave to see daddy. Two of us almost couldn’t hold her back as she committed his body to the earth, with her shaking hands. #AngwangRukubaK!llings
“He did nothing to anyone. Only that he was a Christian and minding his own businesses.
“I watched my little Kushim cry for the return of her father. “Daddy come back” she kept crying. Plateau State why? How did we get here? How inhumane have we become over what? Fruitless cause?”
