Rapper Dremo has opened up about his exit from Davido Music Worldwide, citing lack of support and structure within the label.
Speaking in a recent interview on Echo Room, Dremo revealed that the label’s management paid more attention to its founder, Davido, which he said affected the growth of other artists signed under the imprint.
He noted that collaboration among label mates was limited, adding that he never worked with fellow rapper Idowest during their time together. He also pointed out that the label never released a collective album.
Dremo further stated that the label did not meet his expectations financially, explaining that it functioned more like a platform than a system that actively supported him.
According to him, the experience influenced his decision to remain independent moving forward.
