Donald Trump: We Shall Not Leave The Country, But We Will Fight It Out With Them-FFK Challenges US

According to our report, former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has issued a bold response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat of military intervention in Nigeria, declaring that “we shall not leave the country, but we will fight it out with them.”

In a statement shared widely on social media, Fani-Kayode accused the U.S. of attempting to undermine Nigeria’s sovereignty, warning that any foreign military action would be seen as an act of war. He criticized what he described as the “silence and cowardice” of some Nigerian leaders, urging citizens to stand firm and demand courageous leadership in the face of external pressure.

According to our findings, the tension began after President Trump reportedly labeled Nigeria a “country of particular concern” and instructed the Pentagon to prepare for possible intervention over alleged human rights abuses. Abuja has since dismissed the claims, calling them unfounded.

Observers, however, warn that such heated exchanges could deepen political divides and strain diplomatic ties. Civil society groups and diplomats have called for restraint, emphasizing dialogue and diplomacy over confrontation.
