A British woman was arrested the moment her plane touched down after police accused her of running a cocaine-trafficking network with her ex-husband.
Lisa Regan, 53, was detained as her EasyJet flight landed in the UK, with officers waiting at the airport to escort her off the aircraft. Footage shows Regan, returning from a holiday, pulling her suitcase across the tarmac before being taken into a police van.
Regan and her former husband, Phillip Jones, 44, have now both been jailed for overseeing what police described as a drugs operation supplying large quantities of cocaine to dealers in Swansea and Ammanford. Investigators said Regan laundered proceeds from the enterprise through a café she owned in Blaenymaes, Swansea. Detectives also uncovered phone footage showing Jones slicing up a kilogram of cocaine as the pair allegedly continued running the business behind the scenes.

In October, at Swansea Magistrates’ Court, Jones admitted five offences: being concerned in the supply of cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine, concealing criminal property and driving while disqualified. Regan pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine and concealing criminal property. She was sentenced to seven years and four months in prison, while Jones received six years and eight months.
Police also jailed 54-year-old Tracy Lewis, whom officers described as a dealer purchasing large amounts of drugs from Regan and running his own network in the Ammanford area. Lewis, of Llandybie, Carmarthenshire, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of criminal property. He was sentenced to six years.
Sergeant Luke Tucker said, “Between them, Lisa Regan, Phillip Jones and Tracy Lewis were responsible for flooding our local communities with significant quantities of Class A and B drugs. They thought that they were above the law – but they will have been devastated to discover that their operations weren’t as impenetrable as they thought. They will now get the chance to reflect on that over their long prison spells. Their removal from society has made our streets far safer and better off.”
