
A teenage girl was stabbed to de@th in her own bedroom while her mum and brother were at home
Lainie Williams, 17, was found lying in a pool of blood by armed police who swooped on the family home in Cefn Fforest, near Blackwood, south Wales, shortly after 7am on Thursday morning, Nov. 13.
The teenager was pronounced de@d at the scene.
Her mother, 38-year-old Rhian Stephens, was also injured in the attack and was airlifted to hospital.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murd£r and attempted murd£r.
Lainie’s grandfather told the Daily Mail the alleged k!ller was seen outside the house shirtless at 5.30am and waited for Rhian’s boyfriend to leave for work before entering through an open door.

Her grandfather Robert Stephens said: “He lunged at Lainie with the knife and her mother heard her screams.
“Lainie’s brother Carter came out of his room and Rhian told him to get back in and hide under the bed.”
Her great-grandmother, Florence Jones, 78, said: “I’m in total shock, she was a lovely bubbly girl. She lived with me for the last few years, I can’t believe what’s happened. Things like this don’t happen in our family.”
Neighbours described being awoken by sirens, helicopters and banging doors when squads – including firearms officers – arrived at the scene.
Tributes to the girl began to pour in on Thursday night.
“RIP sweetheart, can’t believe you gained your wings so early,” a friend wrote on social media.
“You were beautiful kind and worth everything, I’m so sorry to [your] family and friends fly high my girl we love you loads. [Prayers] go out to mams quick recovery, you’re all in my heart.”
The suspect, from nearby Newbridge, is being held on suspicion of murd£r and attempted murd£r.
Detective Superintendent Philip O’Connell, the senior investigating officer, said: “We can confirm that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident after making this arrest earlier.
“We understand that reports of this nature can be concerning, and it is likely that residents will see an increased number of officers in the area while we carry out further enquires.
“If anyone has any information, please speak to our officers or contact us in the usual way.”
Mayor George Etheridge, called the k!lling horrific in a statement.
He said: “Our sympathies thought and prayers go out to the families effected by this tragedy.
“Thank you to the police for their swift response and the continued reassurance to the community.”
