The ex-girlfriend of popular live band singer, Segun Johnson has shared details of how their 13-year relationship ended.
According to her, they had been together for over a decade, with ups and downs, before reconnecting again when he became more established. She said she was part of his journey from the early days and they continued the relationship as though nothing had changed.
She explained that while she was based in the UK, he repeatedly asked her to relocate to Nigeria, assuring her he would support her plans. Despite initially hesitating, she said she eventually left her job and returned to Lagos.
She added that he picked her up from the airport and she stayed with him, even celebrating his birthday shortly after her return.
However, things changed when he travelled to the UK again. She said she later discovered he had been involved with another woman, who allegedly bought him a money-counting machine during that trip.
According to her, she found out after checking his phone and connecting it to a call she had previously questioned.
When she eventually confronted him, she claimed he did not give a clear response. She said he later ended the relationship through a voice note, stating that he wanted to move on.
She also said that her belongings were sent back to her shortly after, bringing the relationship to an end.
The woman expressed regret over leaving her job and relocating, saying the experience has been difficult for her emotionally.
