Tension has intensified across social media following a shocking development in the tragic case of the late Venerable Edwin Achi, the Anglican priest who was abducted alongside his family in Kaduna State.
The abductors, who are reportedly still holding his wife and daughter, have allegedly taken control of his Facebook account and uploaded new photos of the two surviving victims. This disturbing update has deepened nationwide fear and anger as Nigerians express escalating concern for the safety of the remaining family members.
Venerable Achi and his family were kidnapped from their Kaduna residence on October 28. Despite managing to raise the demanded ransom, the priest was brutally murdered last month.
The kidnappers later instructed the family to retrieve his decomposing body, a development that sparked shock and outrage across the country. Now, the sudden appearance of new images of his wife and daughter on his personal Facebook page—allegedly posted by the abductors—has added another heartbreaking twist to an already devastating situation.
