Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritise the safety of Nigerian soldiers, warning that the nation has already lost too many lives to ongoing terrorist attacks.
During a church service, Primate Ayodele suggested that the president appears confused and partially panicked. “If he is panicking, then he is in serious trouble,” he said, stressing the urgent need for decisive action.
The cleric also criticised attempts to negotiate with terrorists, insisting that such strategies endanger soldiers and civilians alike. He reiterated his call for the government to take a firmer stance, identifying terrorists clearly as enemies of the country.
“Many Nigerian soldiers have already paid the ultimate price,” Ayodele said, urging the administration to stop wasting lives and resolve the security challenges without delay.
