The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has spoken about how he attempted to warn an indicted Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) official before his downfall but was ignored.
In a Facebook video, Primate Ayodele revealed that he reached out to the official after receiving a divine message concerning his future, but the warning was dismissed. “The NDDC man that was indicted, I tried to reach out to him to warn him. When he didn’t listen, I put it before God,” the cleric said.
According to him, his warning was not political but a prophetic act of compassion — a call to repentance and accountability. He explained that when people in power ignore divine correction, they expose themselves to disgrace and downfall.
“When God sends a message through His servant, it’s not to shame anyone, but to save them from disaster. But when pride enters, the result is inevitable,” he added.
Though Ayodele did not mention the official’s name, his statement has fueled conversations online, especially amid ongoing corruption probes at the NDDC. Many social media users see his revelation as proof that spiritual warnings often precede public scandals.
Primate Ayodele, widely known for his accurate prophecies, urged Nigerian leaders to humble themselves before God and listen to spiritual guidance. “Nigeria’s healing will begin when our leaders obey divine instruction,” he said, warning that disobedience to God’s voice brings national and personal consequences.
