According to our report, Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has finally opened up about how he was arrested during the #FreeNnamdiKanu protest in Abuja on October 20, 2025.
Speaking in an interview with Symfoni TV, Ejimakor said he was picked up by security operatives near the Transcorp Hilton Hotel while standing with activist Omoyele Sowore and other protesters.
“I was arrested behind Transcorp Hilton. Sowore was with me. I don’t know how he managed to escape — maybe it was luck or timing. There was tear gas everywhere, and I think a passing vehicle helped him get away,” Ejimakor revealed.
He condemned the security agencies for what he described as an assault on democracy and peaceful protest, insisting that the #FreeNnamdiKanu rally was a lawful call for justice.
Ejimakor vowed that no level of intimidation would silence those demanding Kanu’s unconditional release, despite repeated court orders in his favor.
