“I Went To London At A Time When I Wanted To Send A Message To My Political Opponents–Doguwa

The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, has clarified the motive behind his recent viral video in which he was seen dancing and jubilating in London. Speaking in an interview reported by Daily Post on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Doguwa said the gesture was not random but a calculated message to his political opponents back home in Kano State.

According to him, his London trip came at a critical moment when he needed to demonstrate courage and resilience amid what he described as growing hostility from rival groups in the Doguwa and Tudun Wada constituencies. “I went to London at a time when I wanted to send a message to my political opponents,” he said. “Despite everything, I remain the true representative of my people. Whether they like it or not, I’m still standing strong.”

Doguwa explained that his political rivals had been spreading misinformation aimed at weakening his reputation, but he chose to respond through confidence rather than confrontation. He said the video was meant to reassure his supporters that he remains unshaken and fully committed to his responsibilities in the National Assembly.

The lawmaker emphasized that the political climate in his constituency had become tense due to divisive tactics from opposition groups, yet he remains focused on unity and effective representation. More exclusive clips and analysis of Doguwa’s statement can be found on Newshost Buzz.
