According to our report, Professor Yusufu Turaki, esteemed elder statesman and academic, has called for a moment of silence in honor of innocent Christians and Muslims killed across Nigeria for no justifiable reason.
In an interview with THE SUN, Turaki described the attacks as “barbaric inhumanity and criminality at its highest order,” expressing deep sorrow over the suffering inflicted on peaceful citizens. He stressed that all victims, regardless of faith, deserve to be mourned and remembered.
“Before I answer any questions, I would like to have a minute of silence in memory of both the innocent Christians and Muslims who have been brutally killed,” Turaki said, highlighting the need for national reflection on the ongoing violence.
