Hon. Tajudeen Lawal, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has criticised Governor Ademola Adeleke for what he describes as a lack of leadership during a period of rising insecurity in the state. The report was published by DAILY POST on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
According to Hon. Lawal, Governor Adeleke has made at least six personal trips to the United States this year, raising concerns over his absence from office at a time when Osun requires focused governance. The APC chairman argued that these frequent trips have created a leadership vacuum, potentially undermining the state’s ability to address urgent security challenges.
“Repeated personal travels at a time when serious security issues are unfolding in Osun State reflect a troubling pattern of disengagement from the responsibilities of office,” Lawal stated. He added that the governor’s approach indicates a lack of preparedness to manage the complexities of the state, particularly during periods of crisis.
