Nollywood actor and popular online matchmaker, Lege Miami, has sparked a fresh wave of controversy after publicly revealing sensitive details about his relationship with Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a TikTok video that has now gone viral, the outspoken actor claimed that despite his long-standing friendship with Seyi Tinubu, he has never received any form of support, assistance, or personal benefit from him. The revelation has set social media buzzing, generating mixed reactions from Nigerians.
According to Lege Miami, he has invested a significant amount of his own money into his matchmaking platform, yet he continues to maintain communication with Seyi Tinubu out of respect and loyalty. However, he noted that the communication is often one-sided, stressing that even as close friends, his calls frequently go unanswered.
In his words, “I’ve never enjoyed anything from Seyi as a friend. I’ve spent so much of my own money especially on matchmaking. We talk, but sometimes I can call Seyi Tinubu 100 times and he won’t pick up.”
He further claimed that the reason Seyi Tinubu rarely returns his calls might be due to the enormous responsibilities on his shoulders, especially as the president’s son. Lege Miami stated that Seyi is “overwhelmed,” which could explain the lack of responsiveness.
