Mbali Nkosi Drops Debut EP ‘Elements’ and Stuns on Glamour SA Magazine Cover

South African actress and singer Mbali Nkosi is marking a significant moment in her career with two major achievements: gracing the cover of Glamour Magazine South Africa and releasing her highly anticipated debut EP titled Elements.

Taking to Instagram, Mbali shared her excitement over the milestones, posting her Glamour cover alongside a reflective caption:

“Some milestones aren’t just about the moment, they’re about the road that led you there. Being on the cover of Glamour is one of those milestones for me. It holds every step, every late night, every doubt pushed through, every small win that built into something bigger.”

Beyond her cover feature, Mbali also opened up about the release of her EP Elements, describing it as a pivotal project that captures her personal and artistic journey:

“Right now I have just released my debut EP, Elements — music that tells my story in sound. It marks a new chapter in my life and career, one where I’m choosing to create boldly and move with purpose. This cover and this project together feel like a full-circle moment, honouring where I’ve come from, and setting the tone for what’s next.”

She concluded her post with a message of gratitude:

“Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this path. We keep going. We keep growing.”

Released on May 23, Elements explores themes of self-discovery, nature, and personal growth. Reflecting on the creative process, Mbali praised the team that helped bring the project to life:

“Still smiling thinking about this EP. I had the absolute honour of working with some of the most gifted souls, artists whose talent didn’t just elevate the music… it filled it with feeling. Every voice, every beat, every verse felt like it was meant to be there. No coincidence, just pure alignment, love, and magic.”

She revealed the deeper concept behind the EP:

“This one is really close to my heart — it’s a sonic journey through the five African elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit. Each track represents a part of nature and the self — grounding, flowing, igniting, drifting, and transcending.”

Mbali’s Elements signals a bold new era in her career, combining her passions for storytelling, music, and personal empowerment.
