Nigerian Twitter witnessed drama last night, February 23, after a Youth Pastor, Dr Bola Abiodun, rained curses on a Health and Safety professional identified as Tomisin for refusing to address him with his professional title, Dr.
It all started when Abiodun berated feminists for reading meaning to everything that happens around them.
According to him, things that they are supposed to poke fun about, feminists read meaning to them. He argued that this reasoning by feminists has affected intersexu@l dynamics amongst people. Abiodun added that what men his age categorized as ‘’tapping current’ back in the days, has now been termed as ‘’sexu@l harrassmen.”
Tapping of current is a local term referring to men touching women inappropriately and feigning not to know what they are doing.
Tomisin saw his comment and immediately pointed out that tapping of current is inappropriate and that Abiodun should endeavour to teach his boys to keep their hands to themselves as ‘’tapping of current” is indeed sexu@l harassment. She said that she experienced it while growing up and that the trauma lived with her for so long.
Abiodun got offended by Feyisayo referring to him as Mr and not Dr. He immediately informed her and asked that she corrected herself. Tomisin insisted she was not going to which pushed Abiodun to lay curses about Tomisin not seeing the next day. He went ahead to pray for “God” to unalive everyone who joined in trolling him.
