According to our report, troops of Operation HADIN KAI achieved significant victories against terrorists in Borno and Adamawa States between October 25 and 31, neutralizing insurgents and securing key towns and supply routes.
On October 25, soldiers foiled a deadly attack in Kukawa by destroying a vehicle loaded with explosives. A 10-year-old girl injured in the incident received prompt treatment and is recovering. Troops also discovered and defused three bombs along the Dikwa–Ajiri road, averting major threats to civilians.
Further operations saw insurgents killed near Gwoza–Limankara, a night ambush on the Bama–Konduga route forcing a retreat, and the arrest of five suspected Boko Haram collaborators in Madagali, with weapons and drugs seized. The military commended the troops’ bravery, noting no casualties among soldiers during these operations.
