PDP Crisis:Call An Emergency NWC Meeting And Expel Nyesom Wike & Anyanwu From The Party–Ugochinyere

Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, a prominent lawmaker and outspoken political analyst, has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to urgently address what he described as a growing internal crisis threatening the survival of the party.

Speaking in a viral video shared on Symfoni TV, Ugochinyere urged the National Working Committee (NWC) to “call an emergency meeting and expel Nyesom Wike and Anyanwu from the party,” accusing both men of fueling division and undermining PDP’s unity.

According to him, their actions over the years have caused deep factionalism and mistrust among members. “They have placed personal ambition above party interest. If the PDP must survive, indiscipline must end,” he declared.

Ugochinyere alleged that Wike and Anyanwu’s political moves have weakened the PDP’s structure nationwide, eroding public confidence in the party’s leadership. He stressed that allowing such conduct to continue would further destabilize the party ahead of future elections.

He appealed to the PDP’s leadership to act swiftly and decisively, saying that enforcing discipline and respecting the party constitution were the only ways to restore order.

“The time for half-measures is over,” Ugochinyere warned. “Loyalty, accountability, and unity are the backbone of any strong political party. The PDP must take bold steps now before it’s too late.”

His comments have since sparked reactions across the political space, with many interpreting his remarks as a direct challenge to the influence of Nyesom Wike, who currently serves as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
