According to our reporter, presidential aide Daniel Bwala has stirred fresh controversy after describing former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as “the worst politician” he has seen in recent times.
During an interview on TVC News, Bwala accused Obi of caring only about himself while neglecting those who stood by him during the 2023 election. He questioned the current state of Obi’s loyal supporters, popularly known as the “Obidients,” claiming the movement has lost direction and influence.
Bwala also alleged that some of Obi’s former allies — including the late Doyin Okupe, Valentine Ozigbo, and Kenneth Okonkwo — have distanced themselves because of what he described as Obi’s poor leadership and self-centered approach.
He further faulted Obi for speaking out only when negative issues arise in Nigeria but remaining silent when positive developments occur, suggesting the former governor is more interested in political relevance than national progress.
In his words, “Peter Obi is the worst politician I’ve seen in recent memory — a man who thinks only about himself.”
