Presidency Reacts After Peter Obi Agreed With BAT’s Policy But Said He Would’ve Done It Better –

The presidency recently reacted after the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential aspirant of the Labour Party Peter Obi agreed with president Tinubu’s policy on removal of subsidy but made it known that he would have done it better. The message was delivered by the special adviser to the president on policy communications, Daniel Bwala on his official X handle.The special adviser to the president on policy communications, Daniel Bwala recently drew the attention of the general public to a recent interview on AriseTv where the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi agreed with president Tinubu’s policy on removal of subsidy and unification of foreign exchange.

However, according to the special adviser, the former governor pointed out that he would have done it better in an ‘organized manner’. Speaking further, the special adviser pointed out that when the special adviser was asked how he intended to do it, he declined.

According to Daniel Bwala, the actions of the Presidential aspirant was a calculated move to grab power. He concluded by pointing out that the interview was anchored by an ‘Obidient’, a member of his support group.

These were the words of the special adviser which he shared on his official X handle,

“Is anybody watching Peter Obi on AriseTv?, He agreed with our policy of removal of subsidy and unification of the foreign exchange, he claimed he would have done it better than us in an organized manner.

“He was asked what is the ‘organized manner’ He played with words yet to arrive with agreeing with us….” He wrote.
