Reality TV show star Khloe Kardashian has opened up about a difficult moment in her past relationship with Lamar Odom, revealing she once hit him after discovering he had relapsed following his 2015 health crisis.
Speaking in the Netflix documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, Khloe recounted how she paused her divorce proceedings to care for Odom after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in October 2015.
She said she moved him into a home near hers in California to support his recovery, but later discovered he had resumed drug use. “I just punched him in his face,” she said, describing her reaction after catching him smoking crack.
Khloe also revealed she had initially believed Odom was still struggling to speak following his medical emergency, only to later realise he had been concealing his recovery. “Lo and behold, he had a phone. He was better than I knew. He was playing me so I can continue this lifestyle for him,” she said.
The incident marked a turning point in their relationship, leading Khloe to proceed with their divorce, which was finalised in 2016. The documentary revisits Odom’s near-fatal overdose and the aftermath, including the strain it placed on those closest to him.
