Residents of an apartment located on Olu Holloway road in Ikoyi, a prime area in Lagos state are currently counting their loses after robbers invaded their premises and raided their cars.
A video shared by businessman, Isaac Fayose, showed the vandalized vehicles as the robbers carted away vital parts of the vehicle. Fayose while sharing the video, stated that the robbers tied up the security guard in the compound before vandalizing the cars.
He wrote
“This video to shows what was done to a sister’s car this morning as well as 3 other Prados in her compound on Olu Holloway in Ikoyi. Apparently their security was held down at gunpoint while this operation was being carried out.
Apparently, estate compounds on the island are being targeted and usually insider jobs in collaboration with the security. We need to put our compound on high alert.
Unfortunately there were no CCTVs or ring cameras to capture what happened. And her car is parked right in front of her house.
I want us all to be cautioned and act vigilantly. And to put our compounds on high alert, especially as we have no cameras installed.”
