A man has said that having intercourse with his pregnant wife “traumatized” him and he added that men may not talk about it but they feel the same way.
In a video shared online, the husband and father said no one talks about what married men have to go through when their wives are pregnant and following childbirth.
Speaking about having intercourse with with pregnant wife, he said: “No one prepares you for that, no one. It was awkward.”
Speaking to single men about what married men face, he added: “You’re going to become a man by finding pleasure in what is very displeasing but you have to act otherwise.”
In the caption, he wrote: “In the African culture, older men and women educate new couples on subjects like this.
“It has almost become a taboo to talk about these things however these are curves that change the course of many marriages.
“Some men never recover or see their wives the same way after childbirth.
“Let’s be adults again. Let’s be a healthy community again. Let’s support marriages around us.
“New couples should always process things and seek advice before embarking on certain events; changing work, addresses, status, etc.”
