“The APC Primaries in Osun State Is Between Omisore and AMBO” – Primate Elijah Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele of IESC Worldwide has weighed in on the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Osun State, forecasting a key showdown between Otunba Iyiola Omisore and Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

In a recent prophecy shared on IESC Worldwide’s Facebook page, Ayodele warned that APC risks losing Osun State if its primaries are not conducted fairly and democratically. “If the party is partial, they will lose in Osun State,” he cautioned, stressing that the democratic process must guide candidate selection rather than the preferences of influential figures.

The cleric urged party leaders not to impose candidates based on directives from powerful individuals. “If they just speak that ‘I know him, he is my as-baba directed,’ they will fail,” Ayodele said, highlighting the need for transparency and internal party democracy.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), parties are expected to conduct their governorship primaries between November 24 and December 15, 2025, ahead of the general election scheduled for August 8, 2026. Ayodele noted that APC’s candidate choice could have a significant impact on the party’s fortunes in the state.

Omisore, a seasoned politician, and AMBO, a prominent figure within the party, are widely seen as the frontrunners in what could be a decisive contest for APC in Osun. Extra photos, videos, and in-depth analysis of the primaries and candidates’ standings are available on Newshost Buzz.
