Liverpool FC head coach Arne Slot has turned down multiple opportunities to comment on the club’s standoff with forward Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool’s Dutch coach made this clear while getting baited by journalists at a press conference to share his thoughts on the situation with the Egyptian ahead of the Red’s English Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, December 13 at 15:00 GMT.
Salah accused Liverpool of “throwing him under the bus” after getting dropped from the starting lineup for the third time in a row leading to a major fallout between the parties.
The reigning EPL Player of the Year Award winner was also dropped for Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League win over Inter Milan.
However, Slot didn’t shed much light on the situation when he addressed the media ahead of Saturday’s game.

“I will have a conversation with Mo this morning and the outcome of that conversation determines how it will look tomorrow. What I need is a conversation with him and I think the next time I speak about Mo should be with him and not in here.”

“You can keep on trying but there is not much more to say about it [other than] that I speak to him today and, like I said, the outcome of that conversation determines how things will look tomorrow” Slot said according to Liverpool media.
