According to our report, Abdullahi Yusuf Atah, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, has urged Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the nation navigates its current diplomatic tension with the United States.
Speaking in Kano after returning from the Lesser Hajj, Atah stressed that unity, patience, and calm are vital while diplomatic engagements continue. He cautioned against divisive or inflammatory statements that could worsen the situation, urging citizens—especially in the North—to speak responsibly.
Atah appealed to religious and community leaders to use their influence to foster peace and national understanding, noting that Nigeria’s diversity must be handled with maturity.
He reaffirmed that President Tinubu remains fully committed to guiding the country through these challenging times, but emphasized that national stability depends on the people’s collective support, cooperation, and faith in leadership.
