In a recent statement reported by the Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, November 8, 2025, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned that the alleged presence of American soldiers in Nigeria could pose a serious threat if not properly managed. He described the situation as a potential national crisis requiring immediate attention from the federal government.
The cleric advised President Tinubu and his administration to respond with urgency, saying the issue should not be ignored or treated lightly. According to him, foreign involvement in Nigeria’s affairs could expand if timely and strategic measures are not taken to assert the nation’s independence.
Ayodele emphasized that Nigeria’s leaders must “do something different quickly,” stressing that delays could worsen the situation and expose the country to deeper external influence. He added that the challenge facing the nation goes beyond political solutions, calling for spiritual wisdom to navigate the complex circumstances.
“America is already in Nigeria. The Tinubu administration must act quickly and seek divine intervention if it hopes to avert the looming crisis,” Ayodele warned, insisting that only God’s guidance can help Nigeria overcome both internal and external challenges.
