US Military Threat: I met one General on plane and I asked him what he thinks about this–Peter Obi

Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has called on Nigerian authorities to confront the country’s worsening security situation with practical measures rather than getting caught up in terminology. Speaking on Symfoni TV, Obi addressed recent remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding violence against Christians in Nigeria.

Obi emphasized that Nigeria is at a critical crossroads and that leadership should prioritize action over defensive debate. He noted that while international discussions label the killings as genocide, the immediate concern should be saving lives. “Are there killings? Yes, there are,” he said, highlighting the need for a realistic and united approach.

The former presidential candidate also revealed that he had consulted with military officers, including one he met while traveling, about the security challenges facing the nation. He urged the government to coordinate diplomatically and strategically to tackle the crisis effectively.
