Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared more insight about her alleged relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor.
Doris Ogala spoke during a recent Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze.
The actress claimed the relationship started in 2017 after they met unexpectedly in Abuja.
According to her, Pastor Chris told her at the time that he was divorced, and she said she did not even realize he was a pastor when they first became close.
She explained that the relationship soon became serious, adding that he introduced her to his parents and took her to his hometown in Anambra State.
Doris insisted that what they shared was not casual, saying it involved deep emotional and physical connection and was based on genuine love.
The actress also alleged that although Pastor Chris appeared confident and spiritual in public, he relied heavily on her in private.
She said he frequently called her, confided in her about personal issues, and even depended on her to help him get medical prescriptions through her doctor.
Speaking on why she later got married to another man, Doris said pressure from her family influenced her decision.
She explained that the man she married was someone she had known in the past who came back into her life during a difficult time following her father’s death.
Doris Ogala admitted she was not in love but felt pushed into the marriage by her family.
She further admitted that even while married, she remained emotionally involved with Pastor Chris Okafor.
Doris acknowledged having intimate phone conversations with him during that period but insisted that they did not have a physical sexual relationship while she was married.
Doris described her marriage as unhealthy and violent, alleging that she suffered repeated abuse and emotional trauma.
She said Pastor Chris continued to support her emotionally during that time, which is why they stayed in touch.
Doris further claimed she has proof to support her allegations, including messages and videos, which she said Pastor Chris later handed over to his legal team.
