According to a NewsVista reporter, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has broken his silence on the ongoing political tension in the state, publicly reaffirming his commitment to unity and reconciliation with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking during a peace-building session reported by SYMFONI TV, the governor reflected on the challenges that had strained his relationship with Wike and the broader implications for the state. Despite the turbulence, Fubara appeared resolved to chart a new course—one focused on healing and rebuilding trust.
“We know the progress we would have recorded,” he said thoughtfully, hinting at the developmental setbacks caused by the rift. “We know areas that would have enveloped these things better than what it is today.”
