Wrexham 2-4 Chelsea: One of the hardest games we’ve had this season- Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea came back from a goal down to score an expected win over EFL Championship side Wrexham to progress in the FA Cup.

The Blues beat Wrexham 4-2 in Wales with Josh Acheampong, Joao Pedro and Garnacho scoring in the win ahead of Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.

After bagging the win in extra time after a 2-2 draw in regulation time, Garnacho described the win as one of the hardest for Chelsea to register this season.

“Incredible win. I think it was one of the hardest games of the season so far. We are proud, and we are in the next round. I think it was a great goal and a great pass from Dário [Essugo].

“I am really happy. These games are different. You have to fight and the opposition played really good” Garnacho said to the BBC.
