Controversial UK-based pastor and founder of SPAC Nation (now known as The Nxtion Family), Tobi Adegboyega, has stirred widespread debate after crediting both God and money for helping him overcome cancer.

Speaking during a recent sermon on purpose, faith, and destiny, the flamboyant preacher revealed that while his spiritual connection with God played a major role in his healing, his financial power was equally essential in his survival journey.

“God helped me survive cancer, but yes, money did the madness,” Adegboyega declared. “Money made me the hospital’s number one priority. It spoke for me.”

The pastor, known for his luxury lifestyle and outspoken defense of prosperity preaching, explained that his wealth and financial influence gave him access to top-tier medical care and immediate attention during his health crisis. He suggested that without the resources and financial backing, the outcome could have been tragically different.

“Money made the doctors move faster. It made the system work for me. Without money, things could have turned out otherwise,” he added.

Pastor Adegboyega, who has long been a polarizing figure in both religious and social circles, emphasized that spirituality without financial empowerment limits one’s ability to fulfill destiny. According to him, faith and finance must work together to achieve purpose and success in life.

His message has reignited conversations online about the prosperity gospel and the growing influence of wealth-based Christianity. Supporters praise his honesty, while critics argue that he prioritizes money over divine faith.

Nonetheless, Tobi Adegboyega remains firm in his belief that “faith without finance is powerless,” urging believers to pursue both spiritual growth and financial excellence as part of God’s divine plan.
