Primate Ayodele Warns of Possible Internal Repatriation Within Nigeria
Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a prophetic warning about potential internal repatriation within Nigeria, cautioning that citizens could be forcibly relocated from one state to another if authorities do not act responsibly. Speaking during a recent prophetic service, Ayodele urged the federal government to intervene promptly to prevent such actions.
“I see that repatriation will be happening within Nigeria,” he declared. “It will be very serious as from next year, but it is a wrong concept. It has no meaning and no benefit.”
The cleric emphasized that forced relocation would deepen emotional wounds, create social tension, and fuel divisions among communities. He specifically called on state governors to exercise caution, stating, “Any governor doing that, the federal government should see to it.”
Ayodele’s message resonated deeply with congregants, many of whom have experienced displacement in the past. His prophecy was framed not as a political critique but as a spiritual insight urging compassion, responsible governance, and protection of citizens’ rights.
