Popular content creator Salo has made a shocking revelation about his past spending habits while living in Canada, where weed is legalized.

During a recent TikTok live session, the entertainer opened up about his struggle with marijuana use and how it drained his finances in unexpected ways.

According to Salo, he had developed a strong habit of smoking weed regularly, admitting that it became an uncontrollable part of his lifestyle. He revealed that the legalization of cannabis in Canada made it easier for him to indulge excessively.

“I am never going to smoke weed again. I am in Canada where weed is legalized so I was smoking it back to back. All the gifts I got from TikTok were spent on weed,”

he confessed during the live broadcast.

Salo further shocked his fans when he disclosed the staggering amount he had spent on the substance since moving to Canada. He said that after calculating his total expenses, he realized he had wasted over $15,000 solely on weed.

“One day, I calculated how much I had spent on weed since I got here and it’s over $15,000. Is it not better if I had given that money to my Dad?” he added regretfully.

The content creator’s emotional confession has sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans praising him for his honesty and others urging him to stay true to his decision to quit.

Salo’s statement sheds light on the growing concern about substance use among influencers and how financial discipline often gets lost in the pursuit of fame and pleasure.

His story stands as a reminder about the dangers of addiction, even in countries where cannabis is legalized, and the importance of self-control, financial responsibility, and mental health awareness among young creators.
