Popular Nollywood star Rotimi Salami recently revealed an unusual experience involving his mother and a female admirer in London. During an interview on Seun Oloketuyi TV, the award-winning actor recounted how his mother was in a salon in the United Kingdom when a lady watching one of his movies made an unexpected comment about him.
According to Salami, the lady, not realizing that his mother was present, boldly said she would love to have an intimate relationship with him. “My mom was in a salon in the UK, and a woman who was watching my movie said she must have something to do with me. When my mom heard it, she just started praying for me,” he recalled with a laugh.
Salami used the story to address misconceptions surrounding his image. He explained that many people, including colleagues, wrongly label him as a womanizer simply because of his looks and the romantic roles he often plays in movies. “I’m not the kind of person people assume I am. Even some of my colleagues call me a womanizer, but that’s not who I am,” he clarified.
