PDP:It’s Unfortunate National Convention Can’t Hold,Some People Felt No Other Will Collect Form-Wike

According to our report, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has expressed disappointment over the suspension of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention, describing it as another proof that the party has lost direction.

Speaking during an interview on AIT Live News, Wike accused certain individuals within the PDP of hijacking the process and preventing others from contesting for leadership positions.

“It’s unfortunate that the so-called convention cannot hold. Some people felt no other person will collect form,” Wike said.

The former Rivers governor warned that the PDP’s internal crisis and lack of fairness were destroying the party’s credibility as an opposition force.

He added that the refusal to allow inclusiveness would only deepen disunity and frustration among loyal party members.

Observers say Wike’s comments reflect the growing power tussle and mistrust rocking the PDP’s top hierarchy ahead of its rescheduled convention.
