Winner of NNL 2023-24 season to pocket N5m cash prize

The winner of the 2023/24 Nigeria National League, NNL, season will go home with N5 million.

The organisers of Nigeria’s second tier league announced the cash prize at the end of their Annual General Meeting in Plateau, Jos.

Cash prices for the runners up, as well as the third and fourth positions, will be worked out based on the availability of funds.

The new season is expected to commence on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

The NNL season will run in an abridged format.

The teams will be divided into four groups of the Southern and Northern Conference.

Forty teams will participate in the league – 21 in the Southern Conference and 19 in the Northern Conference.
