A man has sparked conversation online after sharing the cost of a few items he purchased at a supermarket.
In a video, he displayed his receipt showing a total of ₦75,480 for what he described as basic items, three loaves of bread, milk, milo, and custard.
Visibly frustrated, he questioned how people are expected to cope with the rising cost of living, noting that even with ₦200,000 or ₦300,000, a trip to the supermarket now yields very little.
He attributed the situation to the increasing cost of goods and what he described as ongoing inflation, expressing concern about how sustainable things are for the average Nigerian.
