Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the statement that PDP chieftain, Segun Showunmi made about Atiku Abubakar.
The reaction of Paul Ibe was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Monday, April 20, 2026.
This is coming after Segun Showunmi warned Paul Ibe to stop speaking about him. He said if Paul Ibe continues to insert his name in his narratives, he will share facts that will unmask Atiku Abubakar.
Here is what Segun Showunmi wrote on his official X handle;
“Be advised, if you persist in circulating fabrications or inserting my name into narratives you cannot defend, I will respond in full. Not with rhetoric, but with verifiable facts, timelines and context that will invite a level of scrutiny you are unlikely to withstand. Certainly unmask Atiku Abubakar. Let your head be correct”.
However, Paul Ibe has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said the statement that was made by Segun Showunmi is an empty threat.
Here is what Paul Ibe wrote on his official X handle;
“I am shaking and trembling at your empty threat. I have my receipts on charlatans like you. Stripped of all embellishments. You are only powered by an alternative stomach infrastructure”.
