Outrage as masquerade wh!ps crying woman during Urhobo cultural festival in Delta State
A video of a masquerade brut@lly flogging a young woman has sparked outrage.
The incident reportedly occurred during the recent Urhobo cultural festival in Delta State.
The video shows the woman lying on the ground, close to a dirty gutter, while the masquerade flogged her with a long cane.
The flogging continued even as she pleaded and she almost fell into the gutter while trying to run away from the beatings.
The masquerade eventually stopped and was led away by his handler.
This comes just weeks after another cultural festival in Delta State saw women being s£xually assaulted by men.
