VeryDarkMan’s brother has responded to Seun Kuti’s recent public comments, expressing disappointment over how the Afrobeat musician interpreted his earlier message and insisting that his intention was misunderstood.

According to him, his earlier statement was not directed at Seun Kuti in a confrontational way. Instead, he explained that the message was meant to encourage a broader sense of responsibility among those involved in the conversation. He said:
“I saw the post Seun Kuti made and I was disappointed. The post I made wasn’t to attack him. You were supposed to call Sowore and VeryDarkMan to order but you picked a side. You people are fake friends.”
