Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Nigerian Senate, has shared his reaction towards the xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
According to reports, Nigerian lawmakers are moving for strong diplomatic and economic measures against South Africa over renewed xenophobic violence suffered by Nigerians in the country.
However, in the video, Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Nigerian Senate, condemned the xenophobic attacks, stating that South African legislators will be reached out to and questioned over the unruly actions of their citizens.
He also mentioned that the South Africans are not only attacking immigrants but also tourists, illustrating that a Nigerian surgeon was lynched on the streets of South Africa by a mechanic, and when the mechanic gave reasons for his action, he said the surgeon wants to take his mechanic job.
According to the video, “A surgeon from Nigeria is being lynched by a mechanic in South Africa, and his reason is that the surgeon is coming to take his job.”
