According to her, the facility was originally designed for short-stay use, mainly for drop-offs and pick-ups, but had been widely misused over time.
She revealed that some individuals parked their vehicles there for extended periods, in some cases up to a year, which goes against the intended purpose of the car park.
She explained that the tariff adjustment is part of a demand management strategy aimed at restoring the facility to its original function, not primarily to generate revenue.
